    Re: California Newbie here!

Welcome from Florida! My sister lives in Mill Valley - that's Marin county, right? She has been there for a little over two years now and loves it!

I would NOT do that! If you sign on line, they leave the package and then it is stolen - who is responsible? You Are! You signed that you received it - it is on you.

    I guess international...

So tragic. We can never understand with our human mind why these things happen. Will be praying for everyone in this sad situation.

Love this! I can see it in scrappy Christmas Fabrics.
  9. Re: Wouldn't we all like this if we had the room?

    Very nice!

I think it was Jean(sewing machine) that showed a picture once of her batting hanging from the ceiling above her longarm. I always liked that idea too and and kept it in mind for "some...

    Re: Sad Commentary

It was a great loss to the quilting world. The odd thing is, I would have sworn that she had died several years ago and when I heard it being discussed on a video, I assumed it was an old video. But,...

    Re: USPS question

If you haven't done so, set up an account on usps.com. You can calculate postage, print prepaid labels and even request a pickup from your carrier. Also, the price is a little better on most items.

Re: Frolic! A Quiltville Winter Mystery! (Intro)

Although I won't be joining in the sewing at this point, I will be looking forward to each post and seeing everyone's progress.

Re: Woo Hoo! Free Shipping daily deal today!

I have had a few things in my cart waiting for one, but yesterday with the 20% off was better than the free shipping. Plus I threw in the orange and black batik charm squares that were on DD.

Re: Frolic! A Quiltville Winter Mystery! (Intro)

Actually, I think that is my favorite part of quilting - the design and planning. I have never followed a pattern - usually get inspiration from quilts I see, and then make it my own. I love old...
