Re: Trying to pick a iron

I have a little Sunbeam I have had since 1986. Still works great, gets hot and steam still works. It is just too small for normal ironing & I have to fill it a lot. Nearly every iron since then...

    Re: Singer 160th Anniversary

I have one that I am willing to sell but buyer will have to pay shipping.
I don't have the box, but I have everything else.
I bought it as a back up machine but...

    Re: Singer 160th Anniversary

I have one, really like it, but don't need 2 sewing machines.
It is a great little machine. It runs really well and times I have used it (not a lot just when my embroidery machine was in use)

    I...

Re: Trouble with Moda charm packs.

yes. I have noticed this also. One pack had a short cut piece and then the same fabric in the correct size right behind it.

Re: EZ Geese and Stars - Please help

I bought one of these at a trunk show and have never figured out how to use it even with the instructions.
The store really didn't know how to use it, but pushed it since it was part of the trunk...
  6. Re: Big problems with Husqvarna Viking Sewing/Embroidery machines

Didn't it used to be that every sewer wanted a Bernina? And yet when I would take my Viking Designer 1 to classes everyone wanted one. My D1 was a work horse and I got it in 1995 when they first...
  7. Re: Big problems with Husqvarna Viking Sewing/Embroidery machines

I am sorry to hear about the problems you have with your Viking.

I was forever a Singer gal. Had one or another for years (kept upgrading)

Then my husband bought me the Designer 1 in 1995 &...

    Re: Steam iron purchase questions

Drove me nuts too, until I got used to it, then when it broke (fell on the floor) I kept forgetting to set my little travel iron on end each time I used it. LOL

    Re: Steam iron purchase questions

    Hi
It is an Oliso brand iron.
I think they are the only ones with the auto lift legs, so you don't have to stand it on end.
If you can't find one, they sell them on Amazon.

    Re: Steam iron purchase questions

    Hi
Do you have the blue/white one or the yellow/white one?
I had an Oliso blue/white one TG1000 & it broke when it hit the floor.
    Thank you!

Do you have the model number, or name of your iron?

Re: Should I Buy a QuiltCut?

I purchased one of these at a Quilt, Sew Expo and if it is the large cutting board and ruler I have, it is one of the greatest tools I ever bought. Straight cuts every time. Multiple cuts easy as...

    I need a new iron

My Oliso broke when I pushed it off the ironing board (the nerve of it!) and now I'm looking for a new iron.
I really liked the Oliso but as I have read elsewhere, it doesn't really come up to a...
