OMG! All those quilts. This is so good to know. I have a better understanding now. Thanks for sending out the video.
Michele, thanks for this pattern info. I just ordered the Diamond Patch and also the Picnic Party. Both will make up very nicely. And both will go to charity. Her website is new to me. Thanks...
Thank you. I downloaded Robert Kaufman fabric calculator onto my Kindle. It's amazing and will definitely help me.
Oops, I think I misspelled selvedge. Should it be selvage? Oh well. Time to put it to bed.
Okay, I watched Jenny's quilting terminology and she demonstrates width of fabric is from one selvedge to selvedge. So like you all have explained to me the 108" is the width. So my length is 36"...
Got it!!! Yes I remeasured the width and it is 38" so they did give me extra. The length of this fabric is 108" and the width is 38". I have enough fabric just needs to be seamed. Thanks.
Thanks KarenC. I did miscalculate. I'm so green at this.
Caroline T, Yep, I did miscalculate. Ugh, I'm just not that good with measurements. I have enough fabric and they are willing to piece it for me so off it goes tomorrow. I need to be more careful....
I ordered 1 yard of 108" wide fabric at $14.95. Please explain if I'm not figuring right on this.
My quilt top measures 48.5 by 43.5.
I've made this mistake not opening my package as soon as I get it. I ordered 108" wide backing fabric back on Nov 2018 and just opened it today. I'm ready to send off a quilt top to M* to be...
Katrina, I'm so sorry for your loss. It's such sad news but also a comfort to know that he is no longer in pain. You'll always have those memories of him.
Barb, I'm so sorry you're going thru so much. I have missed you like everyone else. I pray you will continue to improve. Sounds like you have an excellent doctor and your in home nurse hubby is...
I love it!! You did a great job in putting it together. Thanks for the little push in attacking my scraps.
Well said ExGrandma. I've had problems with other companies also. I would never go against M* and I too will continue to support them.
You girls made me laugh. :icon_giggle:
Hmmm, I wonder what cookie is his favorite. Wonder if he likes divinity candy? Oh well.
I feel your pain too. Turned on computer this morning, went into my Yahoo email and the entire screen is different. I searched for an hour on how to restore my old look and it didn't work. So when...
Yes would love to see it if you could post picture before I try this method. I've got lots of 5" charm packs to choose from.
I just don't have the confidence that most do. Afraid to think out of...
Julie, thanks for the recipe. I think most people like mac & cheese. This would be good for me to take to the upcoming Christmas lunch but I'm always hesitant making a new recipe before trying it...
My opinion is the whole postal system is lousy, no matter whether a package is sent FEDEX, UPS or FEDEX Smartpost. I sent out a priority package from Florida to Arkansas and it took 10 days. It...
I watch them all but don't subscribe to any of them. M* I don't need to subscribe, the others I have to create a Google account which I've tried to do but doesn't let me. Don't know what that is...
Well by the time I receive order, my enthusiasm is long gone. I have learned to jot down what I ordered and what it's for.
And it goes on and on. :icon_giggle: Enjoy your trip to the quilt shop(s). Your quilt idea sounds lovely. And congrats on the great nephew.
Sounds delicious! If you happen to make them with the cinnamon, brown sugar and pecans please throw some my way, OR share the recipe please. I've never made biscotti, always buying them.
Very sad to hear this. I was aware of Anne Graham battling cancer but first I'd heard of Joni. I've read her books and also watched her movie. I love her artistic skill and would love to own one...
