    Cutting mat

    I have a cutting mat which has warped, it's still in decent condition, is there any way I can correct the warp, it's a shame to chuck it.

    I use the walking foot supplied with my machine and have done for long enough it has 1/4" guide on it and my machine has a setting for sewing 1/4" seams. I can regulate the length of the stitch too....

    I zig zag bits together and use them in other projects. A piece of batting has to be really tiny before I will throw it in the bin. I also join Insul Bright, making sure I get the right sides...

    What do you use?

    To mark lines on batting. I find that a pencil drags as do the Iron off marking pens, it does not always leave a clear line that you can see.

    I have used a blue chaco chalker but find it rubs off...

    I have a start stop button on the machine, I also have a big foot control. I do use the button but prefer to use the foot pedal when I am fmq.
