  1. Re: Help, please?? Used bad adhesive; ruined precious quilt!

If you go to the Loctite site a pop up window comes up and you can ask questions. You probably aren't the first person to make this mistake and they may have a solution for you that won't further...

    Re: Cooking rice like pasta

    Interesting.
My rice was always a bit iffy. Then I got a microwave with a rice setting that actually gave me perfect rice. Sadly it died and the replacement gives disappointing results. pretty much...

    Re: Need a sewing machine

decide what features are important to you. Needle threader, auto cutter, large harp, dec. stitches etc. If you only need straight stitch for piecing and quilting the Brother 1500 or Juki 2010 may be...

Re: Anyone else thought about this?

Vintage machines are fine-I have a couple but remember, the original owners upgraded and replaced them for a reason. They wanted more options. My main machine is a Brother Ult.2002D. Never had any...

    Re: Bacon???

Well, it wouldn't be a problem for me 'cause I would have sampled it all gone by now....... But could you crumble it and sprinkle on top of your broccoli salads, mixing it in before serving?

Is there a contact number on the packaging? They may have a solution-I'm sure it happens enough others have asked, too.

    Re: Binding question

It makes pretty wave that catches the folded edge well. It's really easy to miss the edge with a straight stitch. You can adjust the serpentine to a variety of sizes/lengths of curves/waves

    Re: Binding question

For machine binding I also sew on back and flip to front, but I use the serpentine stitch to sew binding down not straight stitch

    Re: Spray Basting and Wrinkles

On small quilts I find pressing after spray basting helps remove wrinkles. Not sure if that is do-able with a large quilt, though.

    Re: College quilt

I did something like this for my DDs at college. Only I used my emb. machine to emb. things they were interested in, simple patchwork. That was nearly 20 years ago and they still use them
  15. Re: What size needle do you use when binding a quilt?

I hand sew it with what ever needles I happen to find in my sewing box. Usually have DH thread several ahead of time so I can switch them out as I go.

    Re: coffee

    Black coffee should come out better than coffee with cream in it. The fats in the cream will set the stain more( at least that's what a dry cleaner friend told me}

Re: Pinwheels going in opposite directions!!!

    Re: Electric Pressure Cooker?
