    Re: WIP - January 17-23, 2020

I have been cutting and sewing on binding plus I got a smallish quilt sandwiched yesterday.
I also have most of what is needed for the Bonnie Hunter mystery now that it is not so mysterious I do...

    Re: Thursday hellos!

We have a temporary reprieve from the rain today but it will be back and bring some cold temps with it. Cold for us anyway, down to the freezing level and below.
I am glad today will be decent as I...

    Re: quilter review

I have a June Taylor version [actually have two sizes] and use it almost daily. I certainly use it every time I cut out a quilt. I prefer the larger one but the smaller one travels well.

    Re: It's Tuesday!

Rain is here, it will be soaking us for several days. I do believe the drought is over.
I am about over my cold, just an infrequent cough or sniffle, thankfully.
Yesterday I spent most of the day...

    Re: WIP Jan 10-16, 2020

Right now I have a throw about half way quilted, two Project Linus panel quilts sandwiched and I started a guild challenge quilt yesterday. The piecing so far is pretty easy using cake mix papers for...

    Re: Happy Saturday!

I have discovered that the lumps on my arch are plantar fibrosis, after a cortisone shot it actually feels worse.:icon_rolleyes: It should help the lumps get smaller or disappear.
    The lesson learned...
  9. Re: Anyone try the Quilt as You Go Hexi yet?

I made a few with Christmas fabric and gave them to friends. I was not thrilled with the outcome but it was probably user error. They seemed a bit poofy in the centers. I used the little clips...

    Re: Rotary Cutter Size

If there is any way to cut out your drunkard's path with a Go cutter it will make life easier for you. That cutter made the one I did easy to sew curves as it has a ^ built in to line things up.

Re: WIP Jan 3- Jan 9

When I go on a retreat I usually just take things I am ready to piece. To me it is difficult to lay out big things to measure for borders or cut complicated things. There are design boards so...

Re: WIP Jan 3- Jan 9

Here is what I got done at my retreat, borders yet to go. The colors are a bit subdued in the pictures, they are brighter in person.162168162169

It seems to me it would make the most sense to charge tax where it is sold not where it is delivered.
