    Re: Featherweight question

To my knowledge Featherweights were always electric, never treadle. You could have a 201, 15-99 or 66, but i doubt it is a featherweight.

  3. Re: Longarm machine question: Baby Lock = Handi Quilter?

Hi and welcome. I'm not sure about an answer, but babylock is usually pretty proprietary in their parts. Maybe you can call a dealer of Babylock machines and ask them, wouldn't have to be one near...
  4. Re: Can poly/cotton blend broadcloth be used for quilting?

Sometimes the poly cotton tends to pill as well.

Re: tangled bobbin thread at start of seam

It is cutting the bobbin thread too short.

Re: Shirt quilt advice and tips?

We need Jean Sewing Machine to chime in on this one. I know she did a quilt from Hawaiian shirts that turned out so cute. She would be the "expert" to ask.

If you go to your Order page under My Account, the numbers are always listed there. I just copy and paste from there when I buy.

    Re: sales tax

I noticed last week on Amazon that there was a notice that Amazon now has to charge sales tax for all sales in NM. States are finally starting to collect on internet sales everywhere.

    Re: Good Morning, Sunday! :)

Joy, just an FYI - I am running Office 2010 on a Windows 10 computer with no problems. As long as you own the license for it, you should be good to run it on a new system.
  11. Re: Idea If you make items to sell at craft shows

I know there are patterns out there to sew them and probably some in the hoop designs to make them on an embroidery machine too.

A coupe years ago I made some little wallet/card type holders for...

Re: Copying a picture from an album

Haha, yeah, I know what you mean. I rarely post pictures of anything I make, simply because I have to go outside to get a decent picture and right now it is too darn cold

Re: Copying a picture from an album

Pretty sure the size is limited now to save on server space. Since this is a free forum you can't really fault them for not wanting to have to keep adding more space since it costs them.

  16. Re: Karen ~ HELP! ~ We are spammed by a foreigner today!

Oh, it was still here, just all visitor messages. Annoying little bugger, like 20 + of them. They are a lot more work to get rid of than actual spam on the forum pages. You just have to remember, I...

Re: Microwave cozy / Q on using one

No to the oven. If you have used it in the microwave with no issue it does NOT have insulbright in it, as that would cause problems. 100% cotton in the microwave only.

Re: Buying local vs. the internet

The internet warehouses deal in bulk pricing and shipping where your LQS store sell a lot fewer items and their cost is higher. The warehouses also don't offer the customer support that most local...

    Re: Disappointed

I've not seen the newest issue yet, but did you look for it by name or by image? I've noticed that sometimes the names of the quilts are different in the magazine than they are on the tutorials.
