Re: Yellow brick road quilt (my version)

You will love making it. I find with scrappy quilts like this one that the less you think about it the better. I just lay out the pieces and start sewing. My only rule is not to have two of the...

Re: Yellow brick road quilt (my version)

Just an all over loopy design. That and stippling is all I am good at so far.

Yellow brick road quilt (my version)

Cold, windy day here so decided to get a quilt ready for quilting. Thought I would share it with you all. I can't wait to get it quilted, hopefully starting tomorrow. I love this pattern. It goes...

    Re: Giveaway Week 133 Nov 22nd - 29th

I am thankful for loving parents who raised me to have good values and for a husband who shares those values.

No to meeting Jenny. As far as family, depends on which family you mean. I have aunts, uncles, cousins closeby but immediate family not so close.

    Re: Finally finished

Your quilting is just beautiful. Is that all free motion or do you use a pantograph? It looks so perfect! Oh, I just read your prior post about the LAQ. They do great work.

    Re: handiquilter II frame

I highly recommend the sweet 16. I have never regretted my purchase for one minute. Just finished a king sized quilt. I would never have been able to do it on my domestic machine.

    Re: Summer/Fall Officially over!

Snowing here too. Very pretty. I love snow at the beginning of winter. By February, I am getting pretty sick of it.

    Re: Help!!! Giant Sticky Note!

Wow, that's a lot of spray for one quilt. You should get 5 or 6 quilts from one can and I'm talking big quilts.

    Re: Question about Tumbler Tutorial

I used 5 charm packs to make a tumbler quilt that ended up 52 x 63. 2 charm packs will make a pretty small quilt I would think.

I guess I missed your original post. Are you doing a sampler and making a block every day? I have enjoyed seeing all your blocks. You are doing a beautiful job on them. Can't wait to see them all...

Re: Holiday issue of quilting quickly?

I was just at the same store and checked again. Definitely Quilting Quickly Winter 2013. Disappearing 4 patch on the cover. I thought about buying it but after thumbing thru it, there just isn't...

    Plaid quilt

I went to Goodwill today and bought 10 men's shirts, plaids and stripes. Have any of you made a quilt using men's shirts? I would love to see some pictures. Just trying to get some ideas. I am...

Unless there are two Quilting Quickly issues coming out this month, I definitely saw one. I thumbed thru it and it had some Christmas things in it.

Re: Holiday issue of quilting quickly?

I saw it in my local grocery store today. Decided to skip this one. I have so many magazines and I feel that 9.99 is a bit much for a magazine, especially since the patterns are available as a...
