    sorry to hear of your problems with your Husqvarna...but not surprised. Having worked for 2 years at a husqvarna/viking dealer I would never own or recommend them to anyone, not even my worst enemy....

    My sunbonnet sue and overall sam quilt uses a bed ruffle for the drop and the backing with a flannel sheet for batting. And has split corners.

    I have used this method many times. Not with any special paper. I just print what I want from my printer on reg printer paper, pin it on my quilt and sew. Never had an issue.
