    Re: Fabric bleeding

My machine is an HE front loader so now that you say that, it makes sense. All 3 washes were with the extra rinse cycle but my washer doesn’t use a lot of water. Thanks!

    Re: Fabric bleeding

No. I have been laying it flat to dry. Do you think the dryer would help? It sure sets stains in so maybe it would set the color.

What a great idea Saqqara! Did you ever post a photo of the quilt? I sure would love to see how it turned out.

    Fabric bleeding

Hello! I need your advice. I was given an antique quilt top. The fabric we purchased for the back is a medium blue (a little darker) print that’s 108” wide. I have washed it 3 times and my color...

Re: Anyone know what this is used for?

It's cut on the straight grain and I think it's one continuous piece but I'm not sure. I wondered too if it could be used for those braided rugs people make?

Re: Anyone know what this is used for?

Thanks! That makes a lot of sense. I wondered if it were a mill end or something similar since I hadn't seen anything like it before.

Re: Anyone know what this is used for?

Sorry for the confusion. The fabric is 3" wide and the roll is 9" across. Does that make more sense?

Re: Anyone know what this is used for?

No, not white. It looks like it might be a paisley print. Its a maroon or berry background with purple, teal, brown and light brown in it. Wish I could load a photo of it. If I can figure it out,...

Anyone know what this is used for?

My hubby came home the other day with a roll of fabric I have never seen. It's on a roll similar to a jelly roll but it's about 3" wide and 9"across. It's one continuous strip of fabric and there...

I've made 2 D9P quilts with this line and a cream background. I LOVE the color background you chose and would have never thought to do that. Your quilt is gorgeous! Nice work!

Re: 10"squares and 4 patch baby animal quilt

This looks like a super easy way to make a version of the disappearing 9 patch. I'm just finishing up my 2nd D9P and when I saw your pretty quilt, a lightbulb went off. I'm going to try your way...

    Re: Dissapearing hourglass finally finished

I love your quilt and I love you didn't feel compelled to rip it out and "fix" it. It's perfect just the way it is and it adds character. Thank you for inspiring the rest of us!

    Re: Golden Star Winnings Thread

I received 16 golden star game cards over the course of the game and every single one was for 100 quilters cash points. That will give me a nice discount on a future order. Did I save much? No. But...
