You absolutely can use two different colors. Go for it!
Sure did! It was truly easy as pie.
I’ve done two of them, and they’re easy as pie! Here’s one. It’s a pic when I was trying to choose a background color (chose the one on the left). I don’t have a pic of the completed quilt yet....
The interfacing is not going to make your t’s as thick as the sweatshirts. The interfacing is paper thin, and as mentioned above, only keeps everything from stretching. Use interfacing on both and...
I use soap, too. I usually use the small bars from hotels that DH brings home from his trips. I just shave the 4 sides to a point with a straightedge razor.
I’ve done both ways. Totally a personal decision. As long as you have away to end it in one direction and reverse to the other, it’s not a problem.
That is so cool. Wish it said who made it, but I don’t see a plaque in the pic.
Glad you like your Handiquilter, HH677! Midnightline, this is what I mean by every person’s experience is different. While hh677 felt the controls and displays were not as intuitive or easy to read...
I have an Innova. No matter which machine we comment on, we’re going to love it because it’s the one we tried and were most comfortable with. And you must do the same. If you can, try them out at the...
How do you see your patterns and classes on the Bluprint app? I’ve not been able to find them.
Here’s a sample piece I did with several different pens. This is after 15 washings. I had several friends do signatures, heat set them, left them to sit for a few days, then washed them 15 times. One...
I have both the Dritz mini iron and the Clover mini iron. ❤️ the Dritz for larger projects, ❤️ the Clover for smaller projects.
I’ve been using Glide for years. Love the sheen. Use it on my longarm all the time. It’s my favorite!
I recently ordered these for $6.98. They’re a little more expensive now, but still a good deal.

I did some lettering on a wall quilt. I outlined the letters in white, and didn’t fill them in. It looks great, and yours will, too. Don’t worry about using the white to outline. As long as you stay...
I am 5’9”, and wanted something that didn’t hurt my back. I found this one on Pinterest and added some additional height by attaching three 2x2’s to the top before adding the ironing board, which is...

If this is the type of “water” you’re talking about, I did this on my longarm, as I wanted it to look like there was water on the road. it would work on a sit-down machine, too. I started on...
I sew the ends together and wash it first. When applying, I use a washable glue stick, and actually sew both edges down. This is what it looked like after washing, and it’s still going strong.

I always place them so they face the quilt body. I want to draw the eye into the quilt. If they face outwards, it sends the eye out and away from the quilt.
Oh, yes I certainly do!
I have the 4.5 & 6” purple serrated scissors. Love them both! 4.5” for small applique pieces and intricate angles, 6” for larger applique. ...
I just wish they’d go back to making seam rippers where the cap fits on the opposite end when you’re using it. They do it for mini’s, but not regular-sized seam rippers. Can’t tell you how many times...
Their serrated scissors are the BOMB for applique! Cutting is smooth as silk, but the serrated edge grabs the fabric for perfect curves.
Try MistyFuse. You won’t even know it’s there!
