    Marking mini charms

Is there an easy way to make a diagonal mark on a 2 1/2Ē square so that the fabric doesnít stretch out and distort the mark/fabric? The fabric will be sprayed with sizing before cutting. Thanks!

    Three quilt tops completed

I have three quit tops completed, ready for quilting and binding. They're all gifts. Do you usually wash the quilt first, to soften the fabric, or let the giftee take care of that?

    Thanks so much!
