    Welcome to the swap!

If you have any questions ask away and I will try to have them answered within 24 hours.

A question was posed by the forum, what makes a sheet vintage. The older the better, but lets make them older than 1990. It would be even better if they were before 1980. Lets have a successful swap!

Glad you asked. You will send your fat quarters to me. I will give all in the swap my address around the last week of June to account for any last minute enteries. I do not know yet how many sets to send as of yet. As we get closer to the deadline we will have a better idea. Right now we have four people in the swap. So there would be 4 sets. Three sets to send off and one set to keep for yourself.

I have given this great thought, and if we have a huge turn out at the last minute, and swappers run out of enough sheets to go round, I probably have enough to shar and will cover it. No worries.

Hopefully if the turn out is large enough, we can have another one.

Awesome! Wish I knew of some vintage sheet people to share this with so we can get a larger assortment. Might we consider swapping more than two in each set if the group remains small enough?!?!? I have been looking for a swap group for a while - seems like the ones I found were all from a few years ago and overseas.

If you are a member of the quilting forum.com, you could put the word out. Also, if you receive updates and comment on quilt blogs, you could contact the bloggers, as this kind of Internet swap has not been done in a few years. I think in the past someone orchestrated a Facebook swap. I am only a member here because the clientele seems more honest and trustworthy. Sometimes these get off to a slow start. If numbers end up few, I will contribute and share more. I am just as excited as you!

I will be traveling the last 2 weeks of June, so I will need to send mine early?
What address do I send them to?
I am going to take what I have and cut FQ.
            How many sets?
            Happy Quilting!

3 sets of two you will send. Each set in their own Baggie. Make sure to enclose a self addressed priority mail envelope with postage included so I can give a tracking number. Keep one set, set it aside for yourself. 8 fat quarters total, sending 3 sets. Please make sure your Baggie sets have 2 different fat quarters inside. Any questions? I will try to Check this tomorrow when I get home from work 5 central standard time and answer them. Have a great trip!

I assume that no one will scold me if I send an extra FQ or two in my sets?!?!? Not expecting more in return, just fun for folks to build up an assortment. Can't believe we didn't get more participation......

I know of one more person who sent a message to the coordinator requesting to join. Hope we can get her in!

Swappers, if we don't get more participation, and everyone agrees, we can always make a change. If everyone agrees to 3 fat quarters apiece, then we can make that change. If participants only have 2 sheets, I may be able to cover for you. It would be my way of paying it forward to a wonderful group of quilters. Or we can have another exchange 6 months from now, and by then word would travel and there could be more members. Sometimes these things start off slow and grow over time.
