    My Secret Santa box has arrived.

    Just Lyn, Thanks so much. I appreciate all of the hard work you have done. That's an amazing Advent Calendar. I can't wait to see the kids again to show them!

    It was funny, the door bell rang... Gabby went on high alert, barking like she could do something. lol. The postman delivered the package, "I know you're Katrina, but I'll have to sign your name because they don't want anybody to touch these because of the covid, you know." (Never mind, he didn't have a mask on).

    Thank you! I hope you and the kids enjoy it for years to come. I have one like it and my 19 year old son still wants to put a piece on it together every day. The funny thing is, we've been using it for 12 years, and this year we will finally get numbers on ours. I never bothered to figure out how to add them until I made yours.

      I love your story. Makes me think of my Christmas stocking that I started 25years ago. Still not finished. Two years ago my son went out and bought me a stocking. Nonchalantly asked where I got their stockings monogramed, took the purchased stocking there and had my name embroidered on it. Hung on the mantle Christmas morning. I never noticed it until I went to take everyone's stocking done and give to them. I was very touched.

    I would love to see a picture of it! I've been looking for an advent calendar idea for a long time.
    Rainy days are for quilting. Thank goodness I live in a rainforest! 😁

      Secret Santa 2020

      Membership is now opened for Secret Santa 2020

      We had a lot of fun with the Secret Santa 2020 group last year. A lot of happy people received beautiful handmade gifts from their Secret Santa's. Each person made and received 12 gifts at Christmas that were made throughout the year, one a month based on a given theme. We learned new things, challenged our skills in a non-stressful way and got "down and dirty" creative. Plus at the end of the year we get 12 great gifts for Christmas!

      This group is a commitment as you are signing on to create 12 gifts during the year. They can be smaller projects so any challenge is not overly difficult. Choose whatever difficulty you are comfortable with. You may also, twice a year, swap out the named theme for one of your own choosing. You may also purchase rather than hand make 3 items during the year.
