    Finally here

My package finally arrived. I opened it and it is very tightly packed. Some of the packing material is edible.

Thank you for the delicious chocolates.

The note on top was very nice.

Due to space considerations, I am unable to fully unpack the box and take an image of the content.

I just got home and had to check the tracking. They said they left it in a postal locker.

Edible packing material is the BEST!

I stopped short of vacuum bagging the gifts to get them to fit in there! I did think about it though!

I live in a condo complex. it has a row of boxes with 16 individual box units and two boxes of parcel units.
I was watching all day for the delivered message, so I could remove the package as soon as possible.

I will have to consider edible packing material next year.

Toggpine, I did vacuum bag my BIL's gifts to mail them to my MIL.

One year we made caramel corn, helped ourselves to a few extra plastic produce bags during a grocery run, and made packing cushions out of bags filled with it.
          Tasty and cushioning!

          About this Group

We had a lot of fun with the Secret Santa 2017 group last year. A lot of happy people received beautiful handmade gifts from their Secret Santa's. Each person made and received 12 gifts at Christmas that were made throughout the year, one a month based on a given theme. We learned new things, challenged our skills in a non stressful way and got "down and dirty" creative. Plus at the end of the year we get 12 great gifts for Christmas!

This group is a commitment as you are signing on to create 12 gifts during the year. They are smaller projects so any challenge is not overly difficult. You also, twice a year, get to swap out the named theme for one of your own choosing. You may also purchase rather then handmake 3 items during the year.
