    Have you picked a block?

I'm planning to do the Wacky Log Cabin for my block. Anyone else chosen theirs as yet?

I would like to try one I found called Sunshine and Shadows on the Quilter's Cache. I am sorry for probably a really stupid question, but if the design says 12", does that mean all my blocks will be 12" when I mail them or does that mean I should do a larger block so it comes down to 12" after the ladies sew them together? Sorry for asking

I'm going to attempt "Annie's Choice" from http://www.quilterscache.com/QuiltBlocksGalore.html

institches64 - your 'finished' block (that you send) will be 12 1/2 inches square. If you find a block that says 12 inches - that means the quilted size and that will work for you in this swap.

I'm considering the Flying Dutchman. It ends up looking like a pinwheel made of flying geese squares.

Think I will do "friendship star variation" from quilters cache site.
To quilt or not to quilt?.....what a ridiculous question!

All of you have chosen such beautiful patterns, I look forward to seeing it. I've looked thru quilterscache and decided on the Dresden fan using different floral fabrics. This will be a very colorful swap.

I'm excited about getting started....got my fabric yesterday and will start cutting tonight (after Big Brother...I'm such an addict!).

Its going to take 320 half square triangles to make 20 blocks!! I'll be a pro at HST's after this swap!! LOL

I found several blocks that are HST's but arranged differently...love the DOUBLE Z and FLYFOOT. I had a hard time deciding between the 3 blocks. Starflower is another favorite, its has squares and HST....I'm saving that block for another swap, or just for me! lol

Still undecided about a pattern, then I need to look at some fabric, too. I have some florals, but saving them for a Sunbonnet Sue quilt - promised DD#1 I finally get one done for her (40 pluse years late!)

Sandy - thank you! I just wanted to make sure - lol. Can't wait to find fabrics - this seems like it will be a good sized swap! Everyone be careful if you are in the hurricane's path this weekend. We are in the path in Mass but hopefully will just be high winds in our area. Stay safe ladies!
