Received My Fabric Bundle from Whittles!

I ordered the fabric bundle from Whittles since I have an extremely difficult time coordinating fabrics.
Last night I was at Lowes and picked up some paint swatches.
I started on the four patches this morning.

I just found out that I still need to order my "constant" fabric (magenta).
This is my first mystery quilt ... can you tell?
      LOL

Hey it's OK that it takes a while to get organized. It took me a couple weeks because I don't have a big stash, and I needed lots of different choices. You will get to it and have a ball. By the way, I have that same dark purple on top of the right hand pile. Love that one! I'm concerned your second yellow fabric might work better as a neutral. It's lighter than your neutrals.

Your colors look great! Plenty of time to get caught up.

Yeah, after I took this pic, I noticed that second yellow may not work well as a yellow.
I probably won't use it as a neutral, however, but I will keep it on hold to see if it will fit someplace in the quilt.

            So far I've made a total of 45 four-patches!
Oh, I have a lot of catching up to do!!!
It's not going as fast as I had imagined.

Are you planning a full size or half size?
45 isn't bad for a sitting (at least not for me).

                I'm doing a lap size.

I also have the V-block trimmer (and a Tucker Trimmer) from Deb Tucker that I will use for the clue #2.

Don't feel pressured about clue 1. Gee, you just got your fabric. I think lots of people need to pace themselves and have time constraints. You can sew clue 1 as leaders and enders for clue 2 when you get your magenta fabric if you still are not finished with clue 1.
