Color of the Year 2019 is... Living Coral
"An animating and life-affirming coral hue with a golden undertone that energizes and enlivens with a softer edge."

I'm partial to pinks and corals, so I like it.
What does everyone else think?

Wonder what the fabric manufacturers are going to choose?

It seems to me that it is similar to other colors of the year. I'm not sure if Kona chooses their own color of the year, but last years was a deeper melon color, other years it was bright orange and very bright yellow!

Coral is a color that does not play well with other colors. I use it rarely for that reason.

lots of coral and pinks, green, grey, and even some black and orange. Love this collection, wish I had more!

I love it too. I think it will look great with tropical colors and would look good with almost any color if you think about it. Caroline, that Riley Blake fabric is so pretty. And there was another luscious line this year from Robin Pickens, Dandi Annie that had corals.

I have a coral tee shirt on right now! I think lots of colors go with it. Not sure of a full room of it though, more of an accent.

A favorite color in my world here in FL. I am still searching for the perfect coral/shrimp color to paint the sewing room. Like Goldilocks, it has to be just right.

It will play nice with my colors in my home too...ocean blues, lime green, and pale aqua...perfect!

Hmm is it me or does this color look exactly like Campbell's tomato soup? It's so-so. I don't really understand how they choose this or what is the point.
Maybe STAR LOVER our daily trivia detective, could look into that???

I think Kona chooses something different than pantone but I think you are right - coral/orange has been used by one or the other (both?) more than once recently.
