The pattern is called Mod Bear Paw by sewfreshquilts. It was a little bit of “a bear” to make. There were a lot of 1” squares to work with and a number of narrow (3/4”) WOF strips to cut. I really struggle with cutting such narrow strips accurately. All in all though, I’m glad I made it, ‘cause I DO love a challenge. The instructions and illustrations were great...as always with Lorna’s patterns. The bear paw blocks are made from Blank Quilting Primitive Basics that I won in a giveaway. This is just the top. Lately I’ve only done tops and I store them until I am ready to gift them.
