I saw it too, and wondered how they would sew anything without a machine or a home to use it in?
I mean for those who lost everything, I do not mind sending a quilt because, we all need a blanket of some sort, and a quilt is a blanket with love built in. I just had a hard time imagining a need for craft supplies at a time like this, especially when it was posted in a Kaffe Fasset FB group.
So, I googled it, and it is legit
Site of the Santa Rosa Quilt Guild, California. A Northern California based club established in 1976 and dedicated to preserving this country's quilting heritage. Includes workshops, calendar of events, block-of-the-month, show and tell and more. Santa Rosa is the County seat and center of trade, government, commerce and medical facilities for the North Bay area.
That being said, I don't do FQ's, but I probbaly have a few I can send.
