    Good evening to you.

Yes it is a small world. I met my friend in Macks Creek thru a fan forum for Dave Blaney, a Nascar driver who is from an small town north of Youngstown. I caught her attention because my screen name is Lulu, her dog's name. Anyways we became fast friends and met at the Talladega fall races and it became an annual event. So I just ASSUME everybody out that way must be interesting people!

As for my grandson sitting on my lap, he's the youngest of three and his 2nd B day is the end of this week, along with his middle brother, who will be 5, his is two days later. SO, I finished a small quilt for the 2 yr old last wk, bought fabric Sat and am about half way thru his brothers'. So I've tried to stay off the computer and hurry it along so I can get it done! It's a snake quilt and I'm really starting to wonder about those fabric choices!

Well, hope all is well with you. I always enjoy reading your posts. Ok, off to bed for me and starting fresh in the morn!

The cowboy quilts were super easy since the middle is just a big piece of fabric. There are tons of great western fabrics out there. The back is just blue bandana fabric. It was fun to make. It is hanging on his crib awaiting his arrival. They have a little sign in his room that says: "When I lay me down to sleep, I count antlers instead of sheep" (SIL likes to hunt, can you tell?). How cute is that?

Aw, hope you had a great day today! Tomorrow I get to go with DD to her last ultrasound before baby arrives. SIL can't go, so mama is going to fill in. I can't wait.

Thanks so much. I ended up selling that on eBay and raised $50 for the Am. Cancer Society's Central Vermont Relay for Life. I would have been $95 but I'd had the quilt professionally quilted and that ate up a lot of profits. Next year I'll know better and just stitch in the ditch myself. That was also my Iron Quilter entry last fall. I did n't like the fabric at first but I do like how the quilt turned out.

Thanks for taking time to look through my quilt album and thanks for the nice comment. I still haven't counted the leaves I put on the camo quilt - I need to do that. Those were done with my small Brother embroidery machine. Everything else was just kind of freehanded on to it. Looking forward to seeing the camo quilt you make for your DH.

Hi, nice to read your message! I had a wonderful weekend, thank you! We had some family over, they stayed the night, and the weather was good, so we had an outdoor grill. And some real good laughter to go with it. Nice how just a few good days can give you the feeling of having a long vacation! Have a good week!

Regarding your Lexmark printer... We use one at work and get our cartridges kfrom Lexmark.com. They are a good price (if you can say any ink price is food) and even have recycle and freebie programs. Free returns of empty cartridges and a free cartridge for every 5 you return (don't have to be returned at once, they keep track) and a freebie for every 5 you buy. Give it a look. Delivered right to your door.
