I thank you for your visit & your sweet remarks. To answer your question .... I applique mostly by machine but I love getting my hands around a needle & get a chance to "create" as I stitch.

This fabric is even prettier in person. Thank you for the positive comment on my Jacob Ladder's block. I am glad you like it as I was worried it wasn't a spring/summer enough color for the exchange. I was willing to get different fabric but Suzi told me to stick with this and I had made so many blocks I was glad.
Can't wait to get everyone's blocks. This is fun.

I just viewed your photo entries of March 29th. Your stitchings are beautiful!
One question .... How many hours are in your day ?
Can't imagine how you accomplish soooooo much.

    PART 3:
Hope to catch up when Jim is gone. Not on everything, of course as I have boxes in my bedroom to go through. Trying to keep busy but spreading myself a little too thin at this point. I went to a local quilt shop and started a BOM there, too but I started in April so I need to do Jan., Feb. and Mar.'s blocks. They are doing the "Victory Quilts" by Eleanor Burns. I'm doing it in Victorian colors. Whew!! That's what is on my agenda.
Well, that is my sad story at this time. I know time will heal but it is too fresh right now.
I wonder if everyone has to do there notes in part like I sometimes have to do. LOL

Sorry, but not enough room for the note I am writing you. So here it continues.
What are you working on right now? I have started, yet another project, the friendship braid for my sister who is doing so much for my mom's stuff. It is done in all colors of lavendar and turning out real nice. It is only about 1/3 of the way done as I am doing 7 braids for her bed. I have about 7 Jacob Ladder's to finish and then sign. Whew!! I don't like doing the same old block over and over again in the same colors. It gets a little boring so I try to break it up. I still have a little over a month to go so I have time. I also have to quilt the quilt I made for my mom that I didn't get done in time. A baby quilt to finish with borders and then sandwich and quilt. And, I am so far behind on the Craftsy BOM. I have only done January's.

Thank you for your thoughtful message. It means a lot to me that people care how I am feeling and what I am going through.
Mornings are tough so I don't get going until about 1 or 3 in the afternoon. Not much time for all I want to get accomplished but I am doing the best I can. Now Jim is leaving to go to AZ on Wed. to get the few things we are getting from mom's house as my sister wants it done early this month. It is too soon for me to go down there so I am letting Jim go by himself. I am nervous as I haven't driven in 3 years since I started having anxiety attacks at home and I have to drive 3-1/2 hours home after I drop Jim off by myself. I know no one here to ask to go with me.
    Thank you, again, for caring.

Hi! I made the pattern for the dog bed cover, then drew the design for the english paper piecing on it. There is a photo album of it on my page. I used packing paper to make the pattern.
