Thank you so much. I actually copied the owl from one I saw in a shop window because I fell in love with him.The fabric in the blue and white quilt was from the China Blue range by Makower fabrics. I've had a quick search and this is the only place I can find that still has any of it in stock and they don't have much left. http://www.passion4quilting.com/cata...-24_75_84.htmlHope that helpsJill x

Oh, I love Antique Fair! I can't wait to see your wall hanging! I love making bags too...they're really addicting. I decided I needed a new one last night and made it, start to finish, in about 2 hours. So fun. I tried to learn to quilt 4 or 5 years ago and almost completed a wall hanging, but I can't remember why I never did and never picked it back up. Then this past Christmas I decided to make a doll quilt for my daughter's American Girl (my husband made her a bed and I made the sheets and quilt). It was so much fun...I haven't stopped since! So far, I have 8 completed quilts, 3 tops, 6 table runners, and 15+ bags...lol. I love this, and this community is so nice!

    Hi Hollie,
There's one quilting fabric shop in the next town and a couple of local general fabric shops. I've not bought much fabric as I've been using my mum's stash from years of dressmaking! However, I went to the Festival of Quilts in Birmingham yesterday and spent quite a bit there where there were hundreds of suppliers - just wish I'd had more spare cash to buy and buy! as it is I spent more than I should have done! Hey! Thank you for stopping by my profile and your kind words about my album! Here's the link to the tutorial I used to make the cathedral window pillow. It's picky but not terribly difficult...and the result it so worth the time. http://www.modabakeshop.com/2011/04/...w-pillows.html

Hi, great to meet you! Thanks for making me your friend - I've not been a member for very long. I've only completed one quilt but hope to find more time for quilting!

About MrsPumpkinPie
I'm a Canadian girl who married a Brit and have been living in England for over 4 years now. Recently discovered the life and love of sewing, fabrics and quilting! Though I've actually not even started quilting, I've been watching Jenny's tutorials on YouTube and am determined to start ASAP! She makes it look so easy, lol.
