Thanks for the compliment on my D4P! The fabric is Moda buttercup, a 30's reproduction print. I've had the fabric around for quite a while so you probably won't be able to find it anymore. I'm sure any lighter shades of 30's prints would be equally as pleasing to the eye.

Re: fabric for Jacob's ladder - I will have to be on the lookout for that fabric. Thanks so much for letting me know what fabric you used.

You asked about the pattern for one of my quilts. It was a one day mystery that I chose to use baby fabric. It is free and the instructions are still up. Here is the link. http://carterquilter.wordpress.com/

    Hi Brook,
The cup hooks are a great idea! That way the clamps will stay put! If you get a system together please post so I can see wait you came up with!

    Hi Brook

I used 6 x 5" squares from a Christmas charm pack. The red border was a 1 1/4" strip and the outer dark green border 2 1/2". I just made it up as I went along.
I had already cut the red into 2.5" for another project and then changed my mind so I cut it in half for the mats as I only wanted a narrow red border.

    1 Thanks
Thanks brook thanked for this post

Hi Coleen, We have three new kids coming just for Friday but they will be in our lives for a long while. Would you like to donate your quilt to one of them? There is a 7 year old boy, a four year old girl and a three year old boy. Say no if you already have a home for the quilt! Cyndi
