Thanks Cyndie, He's just such a good kid. His first real job was a really bad experience. The manager that hired him was transferred, and the next one wanted all of his cronies in with him. Unfortunately, Mike was last hired first let go and the reasons were all lies. The company found out, as the business tanked because of 'fake needed repairs' but it was too late for Mike. Mom needed help (dementia) a year and a half before I could retire. So he stayed with her. She didn't pay him cash... food, gas money, and a little extra spending cash. It wasn't always easy, but no one counts it as 'real work.' When we moved here, he started work for a camper repair company. Worked three days, got the worst sunburn I've seen in years. Then was told, we'll call you when we need you. From what he's said since then, I don't think the people had a real business plan, just big ideas and not much common sense. I hope your daughter finds her true love. These special kids deserve it! Katrina
I hope your son finds someone special. My daughter is in the same situation, always helping us care for elderly relatives and putting her life on hold. As a parent we worry that they are missing out on the wonderful parts of life. She also told me that she would always take care of me and thank goodness because my older daughter probably wouldn't! P.S. this wasn't meant as a they should meet thing. I just know how you are feeling. Have a great day. Cyndie 1 Thanks KPH thanked for this post
