    Nena,
Thank you for writing to me. It was good to hear from you. It has been a long time.
I do all my binding by hand too but on this next quilt I am making for a baby quilt. My niece had a baby boy yesterday.
Well, I better answer my other messages now. Keep in touch and let me know what you are working on.
    Piece and blessings,
    Vicki

    Dear Nena,
It was nice to hear from you again even if it has been a very long time. I remember you though. I have never seen your avatar on any of my PC's - darn it.
My mom just passed away on Easter evening ablj

    Nena,
I am so sorry for the loss of your puppy. I know I was devastated when mine passes away. Still haven't had the nerve to get another one. I hate loss---I know it happens and there is nothing we can do about it but it still hurts doesn't it? Thank you for your kindness about my mom. I am so happy to have you as a friend and I thank you for that.
I'm going to repeat something I wrote you before. I love, love, love your avatar. Did you draw it or find it somewhere? It is just as cute as can be!! Do you sew the back of your binding by hand? or machine?
    That's it for now!!!
    Piece and blessings,
    Vicki

    Nena,
I loved your quilt albums. You are a talented gal and it was fun going through and seeing your talents. I am new here and asking several ladies to befriend me. Would you be interested? I would appreciate it as right now is a tough time for me---tougher for my mom as she has been given 2 months to live--this is all recent as of last week and it has thrown all us girls (sisters) into a tizzy. I wanted to make her a quilt for her sofa (she has one from me for her bed) but my sister told me she was going to have her in her bed most of the time. That upsets me as I feel she will have long enough to lay down--she needs to live to the end if that is her wish. I don't think it will be. Enough of that.
I also love, love, love your avatar. Did you draw it or find it somewhere? It is just as cute as can be!!

Hi Nena, You asked what a blog is. It's basically a site you can go to that you set up and it's all about you! I started one back in 2009 but haven't kept up with it. If you go to http://quilterblogs.com/updates/ there is a list of blogs that come up. You read some of it and if you want to read more on that person's site, you click on READ MORE, or just keep scrolling down to see what other people are writing about. At the bottom of the page there is an arrow where where you can go to the next page and it goes on and on. Blondie on this site has a blog - just look at where she signs her name on a post and I think her blog is called Vintage Primitives. You can even sign up to make your own blog if you want.
The address for my blog is http://quiltdreaming.blogspot.com There isn't much on there yet but I hope to be adding more soon.
I hope this helps to answer your question. Hugs, Trish

Thanks Nena! I love looking at everyone's albums also. There are so many members and albums now I have a hard time keeping up with them! I love your Valentine Flower quilt btw, that is so cute!

Thanks Nena! I love my sewing space also! I took over almost the whole finished basement area...now if I could just find more time to stay down there and sew I would be a happy camper!

    Hi

Sorry I've taken so long to get back to you but I am still getting used to the forum and I just never look at the "notifications" up top. The tote bag I made was in Jenny first craftsy class but instead of using "coins" I used charms and I made it a little bigger.
