Biography:

I started sewing when I was very young. My great grandmother taught me by sewing small patches together on her treadle sewing machine. I remember getting a quilt when I was young with my name and birthday on it and that was very special to me. As I got older my mother taught me how to make my own clothing. In 2014 my grandson ask me to make him a quilt. That is the one thing I never tackled. I didn't want to tell him no so I gave it a whirl. I found that I love quilting. I have now made all my grandchildren (4), my daughter, myself, and a baby quilt. They all have their names and birthdays embroidered on them. I also make tote bags, Christmas Ornaments, grave blankets, and memory pillows. I also do machine embroidery.
