Hi Dianne, What a small world. Leone Taylor is my Aunt. My mother, Helen Taylor Lathrop, was the sister of Bill Taylor. I'm sure you know my cousin and best friend, Marietta Taylor Hamilton. My cousin Tom Taylor lives in Catlin proper, Marietta is in Danville, and their sister Marilyn lives in Wyoming. And I'm related to almost all of the Taylor's, and Elgins, down there. I also claim Aunt Leones family, the Darrs. Catlin Has so many wonderful memories for me, and I spent some of the happiest times of my youth there. Both mom and dad are buried next to Uncle Bill. How amazing to meet on this forum. Thanks for answering my post. I hope to hear from you again. Joan Kalimuthu

    Hi there,
My name is joan (midaem here on the forum), and I just saw that you are from Catlin. I live in the southern suburbs of Chicago, but my mother's family live in Catlin. My Aunt still lives on the family farm there. It is certainly a small world isn't it? The family name is Taylor. Well, just wanted to say hi. You live so close to that wonderful quilt store in Danville, but I only get to go there a few times a year when I'm visiting my family. Catlin is my second home and I always enjoy being down there. Have a good day, Joan

Hi! I was wondering if I could share your Beef Barley recipe on my blog? If so, you can message me and let me know how you'd like me to credit you (name, member name, etc.) It's in the crock right now and I can't wait to eat it. If you don't want me to share it, that's ok! And thank you for posting it here on the forum! All the best!
  7. Thanks everyone for enjoying my recipes. I have shared most of my favs, but will post any new ones that I come across. Dianne
