    Hi there, nice you like the rooster! I found the pattern here:

  4. I think that's the name of the therapy; it hurts already less. I finished a knitting project I knitted during the last year. I'm going to post it , once I have the picture taken.

    Sewing or better trying to sew with my right hand is improving the movements of my hand too.

    As for table runners, I'm also having enough of them, and you can't put them in a pile on each table hahahaha.

    At the moment I go through some of my very old pattern books and plan things. But I also check the MSQC website rather often. Luckily I don't have to work anymore and I have all the time in the world to do what I want.

    Thanks for your message and many greetings from G. D. of Luxembourg

    Sounds like you're doing physical therapy? In english that means exercising to enhance healing and recovery. I'm sorry to hear it hurts :-(. Hopefully you will heal quickly and well.

    I'm not sewing at the moment either, I've done a handful of items this year and don't feel up to a large quilt, but am tired of making table runners. I've done a large twin size quilt and a "couch quilt" also. I'm still interested in reading about what others are making, and planning things for myself for later. I have a very boring job :-) so lots of time to read the MSQC website.

    Hang in there :-).

    How are you feeling? If you're up to it, this can be a good time to tidy your sewing area, go through fabrics, organize and otherwise handle fabric. You can still have fabric fun, and you can line up projects for later, too.

    I broke my left wrist when I was 14, and it was painful for a few days. After that it wasn't too bad, just inconvenient, especially being winter. I hope you heal quickly and well.

    Hello mamaquilt, thank you for your comments on my rooster. I is a practice set out, the other side had the pumpkin on it. I was trying for a reversible table topper, but i didn't like how some of the fancy stitching came out. It wasn't easy trying to make both sides look good.
    The door into my sewing room has always had that material on it, so one day I was trying to find a good place to take pictures of my work and it hit that it was just the place to use.
    Thank you;
    Jan G
