Lilly, I posted a reply to your question about gooseberries, but didn't know if you would be checking back. I just saw it today. I live in Southern Indiana. Now the gooseberries are pink and a lot of them are red. I prefer that they are pink or even green with just a pink blush. The red ones are too ripe for me. They seem to lose their flavor. Hope your find some at the market. Oh, and thanks for the recipe.

Hi Lilly, I just saw your comment on the blue Big Star Quilt and you said maybe you will learn to do this someday...I just watched the Jenny's tutorial and it is so simple! Just go to the "Quilt Tutorials" above and find Big Star Quilt. It is so simple a beginner could make it easily. Just thought I'd let you know. Pat

About Lilly
I'm very new to quilting; I've made - almost- a queen size sampler quilt and a few table toppers and a few self binding baby blankets etc. I'm still figuring out how sew straight seams and how to cut without moving the ruler and all that basic stuff. But I love color and design and I think if I practice enough maybe I can learn to quilt.
