Yes it is all done. It was a challenge but one done with love. Think my next few will be smaller quilts.

Hi. Thank you. If you are talking about the strippy blocks, they both just start with a center block that you like. The top one stays pretty straight, going around the center block with whatever width of strip that you like until you get the size block that you want.. The bottom one starts with a square center block. After maybe the first go around, you can cut the ends at angles to get the wonky look. You can use whatever width of fabric that you want. It is a great way to use up scraps. I think Jenny started out with a center block that wasn't a square, but the process is the same for making the block. The hexagon blocks on the left were paper pieced. I made the large one behind the snowman sort of wonky though. There are a lot of mistakes on my blocks, but it is fun trying new blocks each month.

Most of the ones I have done so far are infant thru toddler size. I do however plan on making a few small twins, since the PICU is for children of all ages, unlike the NICU which is for newborns and preemies. This is a very personal quest for me. You can read about it in my post " A New Profile Pic" Thank you for your interest and pleasant response about my hospital quilts.
  5. pc, Thanks for the lovely comments on the Willow Bug Quilt - The lable was done by a family friend on her embroidery machine, then I sewed it to the red by machine and slip stitched it to the quilt. Thanks Again, Kathy

I'm glad you like it. It's a Buggy Barn pattern call Crazy Dog Days. It was a lot of fun to make.

Thank you very much! The polka dot quilt is made from the Polka Dot Party Swap that we did earlier this year.

Sheldon (intrigued): You have a sarcasm sign?
