Thank you for the nice comments on my album pictures!
Hi Carol. I noticed you are from Pittsburg. My son and grand kids live in Oakdale, PA. Are there quilt stores near Oakdale that you recommend. Next visit to him, I think I'd like to do my own little shop hop. Sandy

Thanks for loving my I.Heart.You quilt.
Thanks! I like my pumpkin potholders, too. I have an apron that is a goldish colored tea towel and it has the same fabric for the pocket across the front. They're great for the fall season.
Thanks for your prompt reply. Now I remember it was not a chapel, but a visitor's center called Behalt. They even spoke a funny, old German there. I also love that area very much, as it reminds me of Luxembourg with all the woods, lakes and hills. We were there some time in automn and it was fantastic.
Congratulations for your 49th anniversary. You really hit the jackpot there. I have a question, you said you drove to Berlin. Is that the Berlin where the Amish people live? I've been to that Berlin some years ago and I liked it a lot. Remember some sort of chapel on top of a hill. In those days I didn't quilt, so I might not have seen the fabric store. Michèle
Hi, thanks for the comments on the Texas wall hanging.. No pattern, I just googled the state of Texas to get the center design. And my friend's wife buys and sells horses so I added the horse shoes. Daniel (my DH) suggested the state outline in the white so I put a red and blue star on either side. Don't be afraid to use your imagination you will come up with some great creations. ....hmmm.. I think I will add that last line to my signature! 1 Thanks sewbizzy thanked for this post
Thanks for commenting on my hearts wallhanging! It is paper-pieced and the pattern came with the book - my first exploration into paper-piecing. My mom laid claim to it and took it back to Alaska with her. LOL. The binding coulg have been better, though. Anyway, thanks bunches! 1 Thanks sewbizzy thanked for this post
