Meli - thanks for you "Please Stop" posting....I didn't respond on the forum page, but I wanted you to know that I agree with 100%! I started my IQ project on the 8th of November and submitted it on the 25th of November. For two weeks I was diligent and excited for the last minute decision. Now I have a small regret that I tried. I have been lying low on the forums since the IQ blow up and probably will continue to do so until the contest is over.....just wanted you to know how much I appreciated your post!

Finger sling (hee hee) arrived yesterday p.m. but I was wiped out when I was on here last night and forgot to mention it. Fits fine - now I can get the rest of my hand quilting done on the piece my DS give me for Christmas! Tell Hubby he's GREAT!!

I'm picking out the backing today, hopefully basting it today or tomorrow and getting it finished this week and KEEPING IT. I might give it to a grandson, though. I give away so many quilts and I LOVE this one! Thanks so much for posting the directions.

My husband and I are what we call "recreational companions". We jump in to what each other likes to do. So I follow politics and football and help coach his softball team and he has learned all about quilting and he is my main assistant in choosing fabric and design, etc. We've been married 32 years and it's worked well for us.

But I don't like his music and he doesn't like mine! This can only go so far.

Hi Meli! I saw your post tonight about the 1600 Jelly Roll quilt and I went ahead and made one! I posted it on the forum giving credit to you for sharing the quilt pattern. My DH and I had so much fun picking out fabrics and working on the quilt together and it made for a great evening. Look for a picture of the quilt in show'n tell. Can you tell I'm excited about it? It was a nice way to end the weekend. Thanks for the pattern!
