    Singer 127 Treadle

Any treadle stitchers in the group?? I picked up this beautiful Singer 127 from a friend of a friend. The decals are a design I have never seen. It’s called, “Hearts.” ♥️
I’m thinking about a BOM Stitch Along to get the hang of it with simple blocks. Anyone want to join in?

I do believe there are treadle sewers on this group. Welcome to the group.

I had a treadle machine, but recently sold it to someone who can appreciate its beauty. I have a bit of a habit (or some say problem) of bringing home beautiful old machines. I have made myself promise that for everyone one I bring home I sell another. That seems to be working so far. I do have to sell a 319K, since I picked up a 221-1.

Enjoy life and do what makes you happy. Everything else will follow.

I have 2 treadles, an 1891 Willcox and Gibbs and a 1910 Singer 27. Both are in great shape, inside and out. I might join a BOM after the holidays...I'm way too busy with quilt projects straight through to the end of the year.

I was lucky enough to get my Aunt's Treadle machine but sadly I haven't had the time to sit and play with it. Maybe after Christmas I will take some ME time.
Blessed are the children of the piecemakers for they shall inherit the quilts!
