    My newest

Posted a picture of my "new to me" treadle machine. It belonged to my mother in law, and has been in storage for probably 20 years. All cleaned up, a new belt, and tried my first stitches on it today. All I can say is, I have a lot to learn!

It is a National Rotary, in a National Sewing machine Co stand. More pics in my 2017 album if anyone wants to look. One thing I found really cool is the mechanism that lowers it as you shut the lid - really ingenious. These old machines are so much fun. Looking now for a hand crank that I can take when we travel.
sigpicIf you can't see the mistake from the back of a galloping horse, nobody is going to notice it.
