And I have an ugly baby quilt to quilt and bind (it isn't on my list, though. This is an indication of how many UFOs I really have!)

Finished this month's assignment. Pieced the Dresden Quilt in January of last year (2016), and it's been hanging in my UFO closet ever since. It feels good to finally get this one completed, especially since it's for ME! Now I just have to figure out how to tell my Maggie (black dog), that when Mommy is under her flower blanky, No Dogs Allowed!

Congratulations on getting your first UFO project done. It is lovely. As for Maggie - good luck with that! Personally, I think a little dog hair might be a new design element. I am sure Maggie would agree!

Another one down. Finally finished the Flannel Log Cabin, washed it last night to remove all the quilting stencil lines and had a couple of seams come open, nothing major thankfully and a few little quick slip stitches and it's ready for my bed.

Well I ended up switching February's #12, with my #1. Mainly because I needed to get the Friendship Braid done in time for my DIL's birthday, and also because learning a new FMQ skill I suspect is going to be a lengthy process, but I'm working on it.
So with that, February's project is complete.

I like your lattice quilt. What are those fabrics called? They are so pretty.

The lattice quilt was made with "Backyard Pals" from Wilmington fabrics. It is an adorable line.

I changed #1 from learning a FMQ skill, to hand quilting a quilt. This is a long term project, and will probably take me most of the year to finish as I'm just learning how to hand quilt and my hand cramps up so I can only work on it for a short period of time on any given day. But I do hope to have it finished by the end of December (if not sooner)

Finally finished August's project, my ugly jelly roll quilt. I'm calling this one "fUGLY". It's so bad I don't even want to show a picture. Not all is loss though, as it will look lovely in the back of my car...waaay in the back. LOL.

Let's get 'um done! Picked up my last UFO (#5) from the LA yesterday, just need to put on the binding which I hope to have finished over the weekend. So now I'm challenging you all....don't let me be the only one who gets all their UFOs finished by year end!

                            The Fantastic Finishing Group

                            About this Group

Do you have some UFOs (UnFinished Objects) that you want to finish? Are you having a hard time choosing what to finish next, or are you just not feeling motivated? This group is for you! We have a fun way to get those projects done in 2017.

                            Here is how it works.

First, you create a list, numbered from 1 - 12, of things you want to finish. Then, you post your list to this group. (You can edit and change your list at any time.)

Every month, this group will publish a random number between 1 - 12. We will each work on that number from our list. When you have finished your project, please post a picture here as well.

We’re here to support each other. It’s amazing how knowing what project to tackle helps to motivate us to finish what we start.
