    New to Group

I joined this group yesterday. I read all the previous postings and looked at all the pictures. Can't wait to see and read more.

I have two friends who were having surgery and wanted hand work to do while they recuperated. Both quilt. I splurged and bought the new one inch and half inch English Paper Piecing dies from AccuQuilt. I began collecting fabrics to cut and then use the starch method to fold the fabric to the freezer paper templates to prepare the hexagons for them. Unfortunately, both gals said they were done with EPP and didn't think they would ever do it again.

I will now be doing lots of EPP.

Not sure what it is called, but one vendor at the Chicago Quilt Expo, was stitching the hexagons together through the seams instead of using the overcast stitch. What method do most of you use?
