    First guesses

One of my pleasures while doing BH mysteries, is trying to guess how the layout will be.

Right now, with clue #1 consisting in 144 tiny units, this is consistent with them belonging, in groups of 4, to 36 blocks. In the intro Bonnie announced the final size of the quilt would be a square 82" x 82".

Some of her patterns use two alternating kind of blocks, some others have the same block all over, separated by pieced sashings. I think this is going to be the case this time, so the 36 blocks could be a 6 x 6 layout.

I like how you think, and because she used the word twinkle by using a light blue square, this lead me to believe the 4 patches would ne clustered together. We shall see!

So, what's your thougths about clue #2? Will these units end in the blocks, sashing or border?

I think they will add to a block we have not made yet.....?

After looking at all three clues, i think we weill be combining our 4 patches by 4 in the central part of a block. Each one of these blocks will get 4 hsts in the corner and the odd sized 2 1/2 by 4 block?

Both clues #3 and #4 are multiple of (41), so I am now thinking they both belong to the same kind of blocks. This number (41) is consistent with an on-point setting (BH loves them) where the rows would be 1-3-5-7-9-7-5-3-1 blocks long. Where do then cules #1 and #2 belong to? Sashings? Borders? And we haven't started using the background fabric yet (where she used green and I am going to use brown), and very little neutrals.

Do you think the unsewn triangles of clue #7 are going to be added to the aqua QSTs from clue #4 that we haven't used yet, like assymetrical flying geese?

Hmmmmm.....could be. I figure it is qst’s. I really think those will be corner stones between the blocks. And the hst’s will be sashing. Need to go see if someone on facebook has cracked the code!

I have seen very interesting suggestion on social media about possible layouts.
I have done a fabric recount and I am about to believe the reveal is quite close, probably this week. The only color we have spent waaaay less than expected is neutrals, but I believe we will use them soon.
