Welcome to this years Bonnie Hunter Mystery!

Dig in your stashes and find some colors. Post the color combos you will be using. I look forward to hearing from you! The paint swatch technique is awesome. Portable, and will help you purchase just the right colors because you can take it with you!

Thanks for starting this group! I just can't help joining in. Not that I need any more UFOs but Bonnie Hunter's mysteries and sewing along are fun. I am switching her green for light brown, taking my inspiration from this fabric:

I'm still decid8ng on my colors. As a native Texan, I'm thrilled that she was inspired by our lovely wildflowers. But I'm so so so tired of blues, lol. I've made several quilts this year where blue was the only or primary color and while that generated lots of scraps I'm reeeeeeeeeaaaaaly over blue for a while, lol

I think I'll be using purples as one of the colors, and I may do yellow in place of the teal. Regardless of what I choose, I still need to go shop, so I'm scouring the online shops for good deals....

I seemed to have light blues, but no dark blues so I too am going a purplish tint of lavender. My colors are, black for the neutrals, light blue for light blue, turquoise for aqua, lavender for dk blue, yellow for the raspberry, and yellow as my constant green

I posted a picture of my fabric selections. I’m in love with her color choices this year and was able to pull all from stash. I did cave and buy a few pieces that I particularly loved but it feels good to be able to use primarily stash!
