      I already did my #6 and I don't really feel like anything else on my list at the moment so I'll substitute in my museum needlepoint pillow. I think I'm nearly halfway done.

      I'm so glad for this group. I have not bought any new projects this year although I've substituted in some things I had already purchased the materials for. Maybe by the end of next year I'll have everything I've assembled materials for done! What a weight off my back! My mom would start projects and then not finish them and that bothered me, so I don't want to do that. I do have lovely floral cross stitch patterns that I could start.

        So it's 28 days later and I've bought two new projects to finish...lol I do have the Spring Meadow museum needlepoint nearly done and as a pillow it needs a backing. So what better backing than another needlepoint by the same designer? I bought one nearly finished on eBay. My cousin thinks its weird that I like to buy partially done needlework pieces and finish them but it saves me a ton of work. I see many things I want to have, not necessarily make. Of course usually I am stuck making them but I'm not turning down help and usually they are cheaper than buying them new.

          This group has been really helpful to me this year. I'm so relieved to have those two big quilts done. I am nearly finished with the final wise man. He needs some metallic thread work, beads and backstitching but that should easily be done this week. I'm waiting to get my needlepoint sit-on frame for Christmas before I do more needlepoint.             I decided to change the ocean wall hanging into two table runner things. Actually they are rather large placemats but we don't use placemats so I'll just use them to sit desserts on for my book club. I have one done and one more to go.

            About this Group

            Do you have some UFOs (UnFinished Objects) that you want to finish? Are you having a hard time choosing what to finish next, or are you just not feeling motivated? Do you have some specific goals you want to complete in 2018? This group is for you! We have a fun way to get those projects done in 2018.

            Here is how it works.

            First, you create a list, numbered from 1 - 12, of 1) things you want to finish; 2) OR projects you want to do; 3) OR a combination of 1 and 2. Then, you post your list to this group. (You can edit and change your list at any time.)

            Every month, this group will publish a random number between 1 - 12. We will each work on that number from our list. If you prefer to do your list in a particular order, you can certainly do it that way as well. When you have finished your project, please post a picture here as well.

            We’re here to support each other. It’s amazing how knowing what project to tackle helps to motivate us to finish what we start.
