I hope you don't mind my posting the next number a few days ahead, just in case I forget about it this week-end, which will be rather busy.

August flied off before I ever worked at my UFOs. I had barely the time to finish a baby quilt and a couple of stuffed animals from a panel, that I gifted a cousin who had had a baby last November. She lives very far away in the Canary Islands and I hadn't seen her for 5 years. She and her family attended a family reunion we had a week ago so she would introduce her baby to the extended relatives. We had a blast.

Now for the first time in 3 months I am putting back my guest room in sewing room mode (putting away the extra bed, relocating dresser AKA cutting table below the window for max light, putting out the second table for the Juki I use for FMQing...)

So now even if I don't have much time between working and house chores, I hope I can squeeze in some sewing now and then.

Thank you! I actually started working on this one earlier this month (August). It's quilted, and I'm about half way done with hand stitching the binding down, but then cataract surgery slowed me down for the past two weeks and for the next couple as well. (Can't get my new glasses until the second eye is done - which isn't scheduled until the 17th). I really miss my sewing time! But am so pleased with the improvement in my (fixed) eye and have high expectations for the second one!

Thank you. I'm pleased that I finished #6 in March. I also finished the top, which is my #11 in August.

Unfortunately I didn't even make time for #1 in August, and not certain when this one will get done. I also made some donation quilts. We will be going on a road trip to Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick. I'm really looking forward to it. I do plan on visiting local quilt shops and even attending a small quilt show.

Enjoy life and do what makes you happy. Everything else will follow.

Every day I try to do one thing that challenges my comfort zone.

        About this Group

Do you have some UFOs (UnFinished Objects) that you want to finish? Are you having a hard time choosing what to finish next, or are you just not feeling motivated? Do you have some specific goals you want to complete in 2019? This group is for you! We have a fun way to get those projects done in 2019.

        Here is how it works.

First, you create a list, numbered from 1 - 12, of 1) things you want to finish; 2) OR projects you want to do; 3) OR a combination of 1 and 2. Then, you post your list to this group. (You can edit and change your list at any time.)

Every month, this group will publish a random number between 1 - 12. We will each work on that number from our list. If you prefer to do your list in a particular order, you can certainly do it that way as well. When you have finished your project, please post a picture here as well.

We’re here to support each other. It’s amazing how knowing what project to tackle helps to motivate us to finish what we start.
