    JUNE number is...

    January was #3

    February was #12

    March was #4

    April was #10

    May was #2

We are almost halfway through the year, and some of you have done AMAZING PROGRESS!!! Should I start counting down the years for retirement when I can quilt my soul out? (I better don't: 20+ left... sigh).

I have heard terrible news about catastrophic weather in the US and I hope all of you are OK. In my neck of the woods, Mother Nature has just decided that, instead of Spring, we should get one week Summer, one week Winter, one week Summer, one week Winter... We had extreme heat then snow in the mountains last week, then temps raising again in the high 80's today, over 90 tomorrow... It's getting harder every year to keep healthy and sane.

But I should stop digressing and procastrinating and check what my #5 UFO is!

Thanks for drawing the number. My #5 is to quilt the Dresden plate quilt. I am so behind with quilting this year, mainly because I've veered off to do Linus quilts most of which aren't on my list - I've made 14 so far this year. I know that's a good amount but my own personal sewing takes a back seat. Oh well at least a child somewhere will get some comfort.

Off to the sewing room to sandwich my quilt!!

My number 5 is already completed, have been working on #1 and should have that done this weekend.

I still haven't started on March's #, and will probably wait until Fall (again) to tackle it. This poor UFO has been in my stack since April 2018 and for no reason other than I was waiting for my sewing studio to be completed and the new long arm It's a Flannel quilt, heavy, and extremely warm. Since I don't have AC, just the thought of handling all that flannel makes me break out in heat stroke.

Oh I'm so happy. My #5 is done. I did add another project to my list, since I took a class in May. It is using the mini Quick Curve ruler. It's a wallbanging, which I will make bigger for a lap quilt. I have been finishing up a few quilt for Victoria quilts.

Enjoy life and do what makes you happy. Everything else will follow.

Every day I try to do one thing that challenges my comfort zone.

I finished May's UFO in June. Now it is time for me to draw July's number. (Drumm roll...)

          About this Group

Do you have some UFOs (UnFinished Objects) that you want to finish? Are you having a hard time choosing what to finish next, or are you just not feeling motivated? Do you have some specific goals you want to complete in 2019? This group is for you! We have a fun way to get those projects done in 2019.

          Here is how it works.

First, you create a list, numbered from 1 - 12, of 1) things you want to finish; 2) OR projects you want to do; 3) OR a combination of 1 and 2. Then, you post your list to this group. (You can edit and change your list at any time.)

Every month, this group will publish a random number between 1 - 12. We will each work on that number from our list. If you prefer to do your list in a particular order, you can certainly do it that way as well. When you have finished your project, please post a picture here as well.

We’re here to support each other. It’s amazing how knowing what project to tackle helps to motivate us to finish what we start.
