I finished the top of this blue and white quilt for my girlfriend Connie. When I saw the fabric as the Daily Deal, I knew it was for my quilt to her. It was bonus day, and so I got 2 layer cakes for $20. I used one for her quilt, so I still have the other and plenty of Kona solid blue to make something else. It went together pretty fast. I cut the the layer cake in 2 1/2" strips and used the binding tool to cut the angle. I left it the 10" length. I like how it came together quickly. Now I have to line it up with other tops I have to quilt.
