    Wedge Tree Skirt Demo

This class will be a demonstration on how to use the The 10 degree wedge ruler to make a wedge ruler Christmas tree skirt (please see the picture in the group photographs to see what the wonderful project looks like.) The ruler which comes with the pattern is available for purchase at Missouri Star Quilt Company for $21.00 https://www.missouriquiltco.com/shop...ee-wedge-ruler

For the project, you will use yardage for the 50" circle Christmas tree skirt:

10 Degree Wedge Ruler (which the pattern is included with the ruler)
    2 yd color A ( background fabric),
1-3/8 yd Color B (wide zigzag stripe),
3/4 yd Color C (narrow zigzag stripe),
    3-1/8 yard backing,
    54" square batting,
    5/8 yd binding.

**If it will be used as a table topper or round quilt with no hole in the center, an additional 7" square is needed to cover the hole (similar to a Dresden plate.)

Just an FYI: It uses a lot of fabric, and there will be some big scraps, mainly because the wedge pieces are long and you don't get that many sections from each strip set. (6 strip sets, 6 pieces from each set)

Please feel free to watch the demo before deciding if you wish to purchase the fabric and ruler with pattern to make the Christmas Tree Skirt.
