    Mixed block quilt?

    Hi Everyone!
As I've been unpacking, organizing and setting up quilt kits.
What I'm wondering now that I have a small pile of random quilt blocks accumulating...
What do all of you do with them?
I can't seem to toss them.
No one needs that many hot pads...
Or, do I need that many hot pads?

Put them all together in a scrappy quilt? I often send my 'test' blocks to Granny Judy - she has a local group that puts them together and donates them to a center for abused women . . .that's about all that comes to mind right now.
Sometimes, when there's a raging fire,
it's best not to try to put it out with gasoline.

I am thinking of making several of each of the two we made this year and combining them into one quilt....alternate a couple rows of the M* block with a couple rows of the Dresden.

Come on over some day and we can work on it!

Make a single block wall hanging to decorate your sewing space.

Turn them in to a sampler quilt wall hanging. We do need pics of said blocks too.

I did a block swap on here a million years ago, fancy floral swap, and had blocks of all different fabrics and designs. I took my block apart into 4 units and used them as the cornerstones in the border since there were 25 blocks.

            Before you speak,
            T - is it TRUE?
            H - is it HELPFUL?
            I - is it INSPIRING?
            N - is it NECESSARY?
            K - is it KIND?

I make lots of charity quilts from lots of different things. Orphan blocks work just fine.
