I've got projects packed but will probably leave something very important at home (or at the airport - did I promise anyone a pick-up????).

I am NOT ready yet. I have been working on getting projects ready. Today I need to clean my spare room because my niece is coming to stay for a week to take care of our old spoiled cats. Once I get that done I can move onto the sewing room. I don't think it will take long to get everything together. No matter what it takes we will be in Hamilton Wednesday. I looking forward to another great retreat!

I have piles of stuff sitting around that are coming with me. Need to go through them and get them in some semblance of order. I have no clue what is coming as far as "projects", maybe nothing as I never seem to get them done anyway. I will work on Marilyn's quilts, so I may throw in a couple jelly rolls. I hit the road on Wednesday and will arrive in Hamilton on Thursday.

                T - is it TRUE?
                H - is it HELPFUL?
                I - is it INSPIRING?
                N - is it NECESSARY?
                K - is it KIND?

Left North Carolina Saturday and the first stop was Princeton, WV.
Sunday - Stopped at the MardiGras Casino on our way to stay at the Horseshoe Casino in New Albany Indiana.
Monday - Stopped in Evansville Indiana to pick up some of Steve's fav BarBQue sauce and staying in St Charles MO (naturally had to stop at the Ameristar Casino in town.) Where we are at now!
Tuesday - Short trip to Ameristar in Kansas City for an overnight stay....
Wednesday - checking in to the Super 8 to change for dinner with the Doans!

                  See y'all soon!

Judy, nice to hear you two are enjoying lots of activities on your way. This must mean that Steve is doing well!

Judy, shoulda sent me a PM...I would have come to see you in St. Charles.
I have not packed a single thing. I will do that this evening. I will be working on Butterfly Quilts, so not going to pack any other projects. Trying to get pillow cases made for Carol and M* for their charitable efforts for the folks in TX and FL. Thank goodness I am able to walk a little better, and finally feel like going. See some of you at dinner tomorrow evening (have my yo yo made), some of you at the b'day bash, and the rest at the retreat.

Steve is walking and breathing ... he has an oxygen concentrator he needs to carry around on a cart.

Marilyn ... didn't realize you lived so close! But we'll see one another at the dinner I'm sure. I feel so silly - here the YoYo ID is my bright idea and I left mine at home. Anyone have an extra? I'd make one but my fabric is buried in the van..... like I said, silly me.

I have nothing ready. I did unload my car with stuff from my trip to the coast. I didn't think I'd need a crowbar, hammer, leather gloves and cooling towels for the retreat. LOL

Yesterday I had a bunch of glaucoma tests done, and today I wake up with a crazy bloody eye. I guess it's a blood blister, but it's suspicious since I just had those tests yesterday. So I'm waiting for the doctor to call and tell me not to worry or to come in.

So, my clothes need washing, I have some ideas about what I'm going to work on at the retreat, but nothing is gathered. I'm such a procrastinator!

I am not organized either!! My clothes are all clean but I haven't thought about what I need to bring. I don't have a yoyo either and don't believe I have time for that. Guest room is clean. Some of sewing room is clean and some of my projects are ready. I still have about 24 hours before we leave and I know I will get it all done before that. Everybody drive safe getting to Hamilton. Steve stay healthy and Marilyn get feeling better. We all got a lot of partying to do in Hamilton.
