    expected weather?

I know last year the weather was beautiful and we were able to wear summery clothes. Was that normal weather for this time of year, and can we expect the same, or do I need to start thinking warmer clothes?

The first year there were a couple days that people needed coats. Last year was the hottest it has been in the 4 years I've gone. Hopefully it is nice, but maybe not as warm as it was last year. I always throw a jacket in the truck but haven't needed it yet, except inside when Charyti kept turning down the thermostat on our side of the building that first year ...

Karen, remember on our side we were freezing, there are two separate thermostats. You could of hung meet on the door side of the Retreat Center and the other side was still hot from the sun coming in the bay window. LOL

I know it was cold, because I was even cold and I rarely feel cold. Wonder what fun we will get into this year. And for it to be fun for me Karen you must leave your spiders at home! PLEASE!

Sun through Wed. the temps are going to be in the 70's during the day, with lows in the 50's over nights. A chance of scattered showers a couple of days. During the B'day bash the temps will be a little warmer with highs in the mid 80's also with a chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms. Check out weather.com and search Hamilton, MO...

No worries about changing the temp in the retreat. They are set to a specific temperature now.

Like Marilyn said, the weather outlook for the retreat is beautiful.

I can't have cold air blowing on me though because of my lungs. I have ended up sick the last 2 retreats with COPD exacerbations...js

It was hot outside last year. I hope the weather is cooler, I sure am looking forward to some cool temps. Remember the year the geese were flying south and landing in pastures nearby?

I think each year the temps inside the center have been improving. The first few years it varied wildly across the center - terribly hot on the one side and cold on the other side.

Marilyn, hopefully the reconfiguration of the tables will eliminate the cold air blowing on you. One year I sat where the A/C vent was directly under my table and froze my legs.

The geese have already started flying this year. The leaves have started changing color. It is looking like an early fall.

                        And leaves are falling, too!
