    Power strip.

I just read the FAQS for the retreat center. Totally did not think of power strip. So, if you are a newbie like me, it is recommended that you bring one.

If you don't have one, please don't worry about buying one. The retreat center does have some plus several of us have them. Usually we get by with one power strip for 4 people sewing at a set of tables.

One thing I found useful was using a piece of that rubber drawer liner under your machine and foot control. The tables are slick and my machine seemed to "walk", the rubber drawer liner really helped. I bought mine at Dollar General for $2.

I am bringing supplies for those who want them to make their own foot pedal 'stoppers' . . .

I think I may have some of the rubber drawer liner around here. I'll bring it with me. I hadn't thought about the traveling foot-petal. Thanks for posting that. I will bring a power-strip to share. Any other last minute thoughts?

Can't wait to meet everyone! I won't recognize anyone at the Birthday Bash on Friday, but we'll be staying at the Super 8 on Friday night.
