My kids! They just get smarter and cuter by the second. I just want to squeeze them all day.

Oh and today, something that just made my day was the flowers the just started blooming. I love spring!

I Love watching my children as they discover new things. Like today, my 21 month old son tried to hit a pinata for the first time. It was just the cutest thing in the world!!! That is what puts the biggest smiles on my face, and then, also when my dear hubby leaves love notes written on our bathroom mirror for me to see when I get up for work. He can be just the sweetest thing in the world!!

Ladies believe it or not what makes me happy are the little things my husband does. He did something special recently. Last month was my birthday. We went to Tampa for the weekend before the actual day. On the way back home we stopped in St. Petersburg for a quilt show. He actually went to a show with me!!
So on my birthday I was expecting the usual "happy birthday" calls from my family (we live far apart so I knew I would not see anyone). At my age a call is enough! I went through the day doing my usual routine. I even went to my exercise class. After class was over my husband walks through the door, with my son, singing happy birthday with a beautiful cake in his hands. He had made arrangements with my instructor to celebrate my birthday I had no clue! I was sooooo surprised. I was surround by friends and my husband and son. What a GIFT!
He is definitely a keeper.

I guess it would be my dogs. I have 5 dogs (4 of which were throwaways/dump-offs). They are ALL sweeties, and are the basis behind my pet peeve (people who throw away animals). They're always glad to see us, don't ask us for money, never ask for clothes and shoes, aren't picky eaters, don't play loud music, don't throw clothes on the floor, don't leave dirty dishes in their room, don't get phone calls, and love to kiss us. Oh, can you tell I have a teenager too? LOL!

Well this is easy, my Grandkids! and knowing that I will have another one any day now! Unfortunately they all live pretty far away from me and I only get to see them a couple times a year. I know many of you will wrinkle your nose at this but my cats run a close second LOL. They just love me unconditionally!

Hands down, my daughter. I had infertility problems way back and it took me 14 years to conceive her! I must say she was well worth the wait! She's in college now and I miss her so much. She's a clone of me so we get along really well! I love her to pieces!!!

Congratulations cristiS - way to go!

I run/operate a horse rescue so the thing that makes me happiest and puts a smile on my face is numerous.

1. Saving a horse and bringing him/her into the rescue
2. Seeing the life/shine come back into their eyes
3. Gaining their trust and seeing them give you love for the first time
4. Interacting with the other horses and seeing them be truly happy and just being a horse.
5. many many more but those are the tops!

So many things!! Right now I'm smiling thinking of our house near the beach, and of spending time there this summer with my far-away grandchildren. It's been a long winter, and the warm weather this past week has really perked me up.

My foster kids make me happiest, especially the two that I am going to adopt (hopefully soon). I can't imagine my life without them, they are the reason I continue to breathe each moment. They make me laugh, smile and cry... they are my everything.

It makes me happy to see my granbaby Nathan on Skype.
It makes me happy to eat chocolate cake and ice cream on Sunday afternoon.

I love seeing my children. They have left home and are very far away, so I don't see them often enough. I send them "goody boxes" about once a month and it makes me so happy to hear from them when they receive the boxes.
