I finally figured out how to sign up for the weekly give away. Please ignore my earlier post. What am I doing today? Right now I am posting this thread. Then I will be sewing on my rag quilt that I have promised my sister-in-law for 1 yr. (almost finished). Then at 6pm get my hair trimmed and dyed. Need it badly. Tomorrow I am so excited. I will pick up my new sewing and embroidery machine a Babylock Esante at 3pm. In the a.m. I will be with my friends working on another quilt so its busy, busy, busy. Love this site. Everyone is so nice. I love the tuts and Jenny. She is so talented.

Today I am watching your tutorials and learning a lot of neat things. I think your tutorials are wonderful. After this, I am going to finish up a quilt top I have been working on and hopefully quilt it myself....chicken I am...just learning this part. This site is a wonderful place for learning and meeting such friendly and helpful people. :-)

Today I'll finish the back of my latest quilt ... and maybe if the stores aren't closed be able to pick up my batting so I can put the quilt together to start machine quilting. If the stores are closed, then I'll start cutting my squares for a baby rag quilt I'll be doing out of denim and flannel.

I'm new and not real sure how this works but here goes. I am working on a rail fence throw and have been quilting the borders. Well, I discovered (after almost 2 full sides done) that I wasn't happy with the way the quilting was going so I have been ripping and ripping out stitches. It's going slow because first I dislike ripping very much and second I have a cold and it's getting worse (by the minute it seem). This afternoon I am going to keep my 4 yr old DGD so probably won't do much then.

I'm stitching away with my machine on the 2nd ever starburst quilt I made. Shopping for groceries is also on my list. And then I'm hoping to win / buy / find more fabric to build up my stash.. TY for asking. Granny

Today I will do a little cleaning...and I do mean little. I promised my 8 yr.old granddaughter that I would go to her first softball game then the balance of the day will be quilting. I have several quilts in the construction phrase right now.

I am going to a quilting workshop that our guild is having. We will be making X-large quilting totes. I will then come home and perhaps finish any part of the project that I didn't get done there.

What I am doing today? I will be finishing up a zig zag quilt. I have been for the last Month trying to make quilts and sell them since my husband lost his job and it has been hard for him to find another job and I believe it is his age. Just like insurance they dont want to take someone who is over 50 becouse most people start having health problems. But anyway that is what I will be doing today.

I am planning on making a friend a big tote today. It is rainy outside so it is a perfect day to do it.
